Jakarta Provincial Government keeps intensifying the making of absorption well in order to minimize the flood in capital. At this moment, data collection is being run and it is targeted to be done next week.

Ratna Diah Kurniati, Jakarta Head Dept. of City Parks and Cemeteries, explained that the absorption well is important for big city like Jakarta. The well can be used to store water for dry season.

Absoprtion Well will Be Built in 16 Flats in 2016According to her, the well could be made in 500-1,000 meter square park.
"North Jakarta does not need well since the location is near to the sea," she disclosed.
